We completed our Third Periodical Review of UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland in 1983.
These are the 72 UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland that were in use between 1983 and 1997.
These constituencies were used in the UK general elections of: 9 June 1983; 11 June 1987; and 9 April 1992.
We conducted an interim review in 1986 which resulted in changes to some of these constituencies from 1987. We conducted an interim review in 1988 and an interim review in 1990 which resulted in changes to some of these constituencies from 1992.
