We completed our Initial Review of UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland in 1947.
These are the 71 UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland that were in use between 1950 and 1955.
These constituencies were used in the UK general elections of 23 February 1950 and 25 October 1951.
We conducted interim reviews which resulted in changes to some of these constituencies. A first pair of interim reviews took place in 1950 and 1951 with the resulting changes taking effect from 1951. A further interim review took place in 1952 with the resulting changes only taking effect from 1955, as part of the UK Parliament constituencies from 1955 to 1974.
