1st Review of UK Parliamentary Constituencies

We completed our First Periodical Review of UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland in 1954.

These are the 71 UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland that were in use between 1955 and 1974.

These constituencies were used in the UK general elections of: 26 May 1955; 8 October 1959; 15 October 1964; 31 March 1966; and 18 June 1970.

We conducted an interim review in 1960 which resulted in changes to some of these constituencies which came into effect from 1964.
