We conducted interim reviews of UK Parliament constituencies which reported in 1950 and 1951 in areas where changes to burgh boundaries had resulted in burghs being partly in one constituency and partly in another. These interim reviews resulted in changes to the UK Parliament constituencies in use between 1950 and 1955 which took effect in 1951.

We conducted an interim review of UK Parliament constituencies which reported in 1972 in areas where changes to boundaries had resulted in burghs and cities being partly in one constituency and partly in another. These interim reviews took place after the completion of our Second Periodical Review and before the first use of the constituencies recommended in that review. The recommendations from the interim review became part of the UK Parliament constituencies in use between 1974 and 1983.

The interim review resulted in changes to some of the UK Parliament constituencies in use between 1983 and 1997 with the changes taking effect in 1987.
